Journey to Zihuatanejo by Bill Bradley

Bill "Memo" Bradley is a semi-retired US businessman and first time book author. His dual goals in writing this book are to attract visitors to the town he calls Paradise and to promote volunteerism wherever there is a need. He resides in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Hola, I am a retired human resources development consultant who spent my adult life helping people in the workforce and the organizations they worked in. In 2002 I officially declared myself burned out and retired to a simple life style in Eugene, Oregon. That year I began going to Zihuatanejo, Mexico on vacations. In 2007 I got involved with teachers who work for pactically nothing at one of the poorest schools in Zihuatanejo. I fell in love with the kids and decided that I would dedicate my remaining healthy years trying to help them. I begin my extend time in Mexico in October, 2008. My goals are to help them get the lunches, school supplies, clothes and reading material they need and while I am there - about 5 months per year - teach English as a second language. I am doing this blog to keep friends and family informed of my "doings" and to find others who would like to contribute in someway. Muchas gracias and hasta luego, Memo (That's Bill in Spanish)
